　　六、内容简介：

　　Chromatographic separation processes are commonly involved in the manufacturing of most new biopharmaceutical products yet these operations remain complex and difficult to conduct. This lecture will present research at Cambridge on new approaches to chromatographic separations through two examples: the development of packaging cells for easily manufacturable viral gene therapeutics and the design of micro-capillary membranes for rapid ion-exchange and affinity chromatography.

　　Nigel K.H. Slater教授，剑桥大学副校长，英国皇家工程院院士，英国化学工程师协会Donald勋章获得者，曾于2009-2013期间出任剑桥大学菲茨威廉学院院长。Slater教授长期致力于生物化学工程及生物制药学领域的研究，在相关领域的国际期刊上已发表140多篇论文。
