六、交流内容：
Automatic medical image diagnosis is a long-standing problem. Recent advances with deep learning algorithms have shown significant improvement on different types of medical images. However, the current automatic prediction mechanism with the output of disease labels lacks interpretability.
A strong diagnosis system with artificial intelligence has the ability to perceive and understand the communication of humans in natural language and thereby its automatic diagnosis could be intelligible to doctors. The goal of this talk is to show several recent work of the presenter, Zizhao Zhang, which builds algorithmic models to link language to vison for crucial yet missing problems and applications (e.g. medical diagnostic report generation) in medical image diagnosis.
七、主讲人简介：
Zizhao Zhang is 4th year PhD student in Computer Information and Science Engineering, University of Florida. His advisor is Dr. Lin Yang, a tenured professor in the University of Florida. His research interests are computer vision, machine learning, and medical image analysis. He concentrates on intelligent and interpretable medical image diagnosis to better serve the computer-aided diagnosis in clinics. He developed the first algorithm that can use diagnostic reports of pathology images to guide better image understanding for machines and teach machines to automatically generate diagnostic reports. His related work has been published and invited as oral speakers in top conferences of both computer vision and medical imaging (CVPR and MICCAI). He also serves as reviewers for several top conferences and journals.
