基础院“研究生人文教育与学术交流月”高水平学术课程结课

  6月19日至23日,6月26日至7月3日,“研究生人文教育与学术交流月”系列活动之高水平学术课程Introduction of Nanomechanics and Nanotribology和Solar Cells进行了授课。两门课程重点围绕着为研究生同学开拓视野,加强研究生同学与国际顶尖技术研究者之间的沟通与交流,提升同学们对摩擦学前沿和太阳能电池的理论知识的了解而展开。

  其中,Introduction of Nanomechanics and Nanotribology课程由来自林雪平大学(Linköpings Universitet)的Esteban D. Broitman教授主讲,Solar Cells课程由来自荷兰埃因霍芬理工大学的Ruud E.I. Schropp教授主讲。

  在为期一周的课程中,Esteban教授先从硬度的定义讲起,详细介绍了硬度测试标准的发展和优缺点,使同学们了解了硬度并不是材料的本征特性。之后介绍了硬度对材料分析的影响,向同学们展示了纳米摩擦学的“大图景”,最后根据同学们各自的专业领域,Esteban教授精心设计了一系列问题让同学们独立讨论,使同学们交流了彼此领域内摩擦学相关的前沿知识,并对力学和摩擦学在微观领域的应用有了更深的了解。

  在Ruud教授的课程Solar Cells中,他首先向同学们简单介绍了这一周多课程的整体计划,了解了每一位选择该门课程的同学的专业,并且针对一些非相关专业的同学作了一个基础知识的讲授。Ruud教授从整体上介绍了太阳能电池的相关产业及现状。他表示,现在太阳能电池最主要的问题就集中在应该如何提高能量储存和转化上,而最高的转化效率还是30%不到。就这个问题,Ruud教授从原理上解释了提高效率的一些技术手段和改进的方式,并且回答了课堂同学的提问。之后,Ruud教授有阐述了关于薄膜硅太阳能电池的概念,并强调现在这种材料的太阳能电池是研究方向的重点之一。他强调,薄膜硅太阳能电池是作为后面做flexible solar cells的基础。

  同学们认真学习了两位教授的课程,并在课堂展开热烈的讨论,在愉快的氛围中接触了解了先进技术与最新产品。

  Esteban D. Broitman简介:

  Prof. Esteban Daniel Broitman got his PhD degree in 1997 in the area of physical, mechanical and tribological properties of plasma-assisted thin film. Considered by many colleagues in Europe and USA as a world-leader scientist in nanomechanics, nano/microtribology, and piezotronics, he has conducted and directed research leading to more than 140 publications, many conference contributions, chapter-books, and patents. He is also constantly invited as Plenary, Keynote or Invited Lecturer at different International Conferences. As an experienced Professor with ability to supervise and initiate research, he taught and supervised MSc and PhD students in different countries and cultures. Furthermore, he applied and received grants from different countries like Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Sweden, USA, and the EU-commission.

  Ruud E.I. Schropp简介:

  Prof. Ruud E.I. Schropp was appointed full professor of “Physics of Devices”. In 2012, he joined the Energy Research Center of the Netherlands (ECN), while continuing professorship in Thin Film Photovoltaics at Eindhoven University of Technology. He has been visiting professor at NREL, at Applied Materials, and at 4 different institutes in China and Japan. He authored/co-authored more than 600 papers (>400 peer reviewed) and 12 patents. He has been supervisor of 35 PhD’s and of many students completing their BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry and Physics, primarily Nanomaterials.
